1. Pattern Practice

Use the adjective before the arrow to complete each sentence with the correct form.

1. 静か → この町は ________。
2. 新しい → これは ________ かばんです。
3. 面白い → この映画は面白いですか。— いいえ、________。
4. 便利 → このホテルは ________。
5. いい → この辞書はいいですか。— いいえ、________。

2. Use the Grammar

Look at the four original scenes. For each scene, write one adjective sentence and one noun phrase. Use only details visible in the picture; more than one description may be possible.

Then write one contrast with ～が and one additional description with そして.

3. Speak or Write

Choose a town, school, restaurant, or room that you know. Make a four-to-six-line description or conversation that includes:

1. one な-adjective and one い-adjective;
2. とても or あまり with the correct ending;
3. ～が or そして; and
4. one question with どう or どんな.
